Vintage Smiths Sectric 240 Volt Electric Wall Clock. Not currently in working condition. When plugged in to 240V the electric motor vibrates back and forth, but does not run continuously.
I bought it with the intention of replacing the original 240V electric mechanism with a modern battery mechanism, but haven't got around to it.
Hands are in very good condition and can be adjusted with knob on the back of the clock.
Clock diameter is approx. 207mm.
Rear cover inscribed with: 200-250V AC 50 Cycles. 2W Self Starting. British Patents: 744204 806 383 S. Smith & Sons (Australia Pty Ltd) Made in Australia.
Mechanism Circuit Board inscribed with: 200-250V 50C Made in England
