There are 279 drawing, one per page, each accompanied by the original caption and editorial notes recalling the political events which inspired it. Arranged chronologically so that Churchill's career can be followed throughout the eventful years from 1900 to 1954.

All pages complete and in very good condition; no rips, tears or annotations. There is some minor age commensurate staining to the first and last few pages. The last page has split from the cover, but is not loose. The spine is solid and undamaged  as are the front and rear hard covers.

The jacket has shelf damage, staining and some splits and tears with small pieces missing. It has age related staining.

Ideal for anyone with a passing interest in historical satirical, political Cartoons, Winston Churchill, or just old Cartoon books that smell like they are almost 70 years old!
