This is an interesting piece. It's a carved wood pendant covered in either gold paint or possibly gold leaf. I don't know the ethnicity or culture that it represents, but I do think this pendant is folk art and handmade. There's a lot of character here. I think this could be a good gift for people who like tribal or primitive style art.

The pendant is just over 2.5 inches long, and is incredibly lightweight. It does not come with a chain.
