Offered is an antique Rockford pocket watch. Housed in 4 ounce class case that has seen much wear, to the point that the back has been replaced with a plate of silver (see pics). This is well done and not detectable externally, the watch presents very well, dent free with wear on the coin edges. Porcelain dial presents well, seems to have a small cluster of chips in the field at about 17 minutes to center, may be an associated hairline but I can’t detect it. Movement seems a little loose in the case. The watch is running well with true balance and bright plates, not tested for accuracy or duration. Overall a very appealing , early large watch in great condition! Sold as is, please view all pics, they are part of the description.
