This is a wonderful vintage 1909 postcard. Scene shows a view of Carl Sterling Bates Bi-Plane flying over the Ormond-Daytona car races at Daytona Beach, Fla. During this event, there was a stunt between Bob Burman’s Buick and Bates’ Bi-Plance where they raced. The Buick won hand-down as the car's motor had more horse power and thus won the race.
