Selling a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.5L IS USM lens.

I purchased this lens new from Murphy’s in 2010 for $1460. It malfunctioned in 2012 and I had it repaired at the Canon Factory Service Center in Irvine, CA for $269. See photos of receipts and explanation about what happened in 2012.

There are some abrasions on the barrel from the malfunction, but it’s cosmetic only. The Canon repair left the lens better than new, but it does have some battle wounds from the incident.

Awesome lens. Sacrificing it at half what I have invested. Very few clicks.

Includes lens, hood, original box, and paperwork. The LZ1324 case mentioned on the box is not included.
