This listing is for a replacement magnet for the Thetford C250/C260 Float Arm. The supplied magnet (2 magnets combined) have a much stronger pull than the original (approximately 2 times (see video)).. They fit snuggly in to the recess and provide a much more reliable indication that the holding tank needs emptying. In a test with water the upgraded magnet reliably gave an indication 3 litres earlier than the Thetford magnet. In active usage with the original Thetford magnet, solids and tissues can interfere and lead to rather late and sometimes no indications.
The float arm removal and fitting instructions are as per the photos. The old magnet simply slides out of the arm (it may need a little persuasion). It is recommended (though not essential) to add a spot of super glue to the newly inserted magnet (in the centre).
