Stan Woloshyn was first elected for the Alberta NDP in 1989 for the riding of Stony Plain. Before the next election, he crossed the floor to join the PCs, and sat as a Progressive Conservative MLA until 2004. He served in Ralph Klein's cabinet as Minister of Public Works and as Minister of Public Development.
