Set appears to be complete but please examine pictures carefully as these form part of the description.
Everything is nice and clean and the wagons are in exceptionally good and clean condition. Box is very tatty as seen in pics.
The catalogue is also very tatty and there are some loose pages.
This set hasn't been used for some years but when set-up today everything seems to work ok. I have tested the engine briefly and it is working fine but electric connectivity is a little sketchy in places so track may require a clean with contact cleaner etc and additional track joiners may be retired. I also thought the transformer ran a bit hot but I think it was probably always like this.
Please note following shortcomings;
-There is a small melt mark to the engine's bodywork.
-The forward/reverse switch on the transformer is missing and has to be operated using a small screwdriver to depress and move the switch.
- The transformer cable has a bit of white marking to the cable where it has reacted with the polystyrene packaging over the years. This has not damaged the cable.
