Antique 1920s-40s era Art Deco Ceiling Light.

Very beautiful antique beige & clear glass art deco ceiling light fixture. The antique glass shade is in nice antique condition overall, there is some slight scratches, aging discoloration and a few light spots in the enamel, ((Please use photos and zoom for reference)), and also a couple of natural air bubbles in the glass shade and glass column stem. There are a couple of what looks to be shale/flake chips or indentions on the clear rim of the shade but they could also have been natural imperfections in the glass from what the shade was molded (very hard to see but mentioning for description accuracy). Overall the light is in good antique condition considering the age. All imperfections are very typical for an antique this age and most are natural from when the glass was made. The light has had a new 4 bulb socket cluster and wires installed and works great! The entire light has been cleaned, polish/shined and a few new pieces of hardware were used along the way to get the fixture back to its original beauty and functionality.

There is patina aging and ware on the metal ceiling cap. The bottom metal brass ornate column base cap is free sitting, it simply rests in place when the fixture is mounted.

PLEASE NOTE - The glass column stem has a flat spot molded into the glass, we have no idea why other than there may have been an adhered metal ornate decoration attached in that area at one time but if so it was long since gone before we acquired the light.

This Fixture is an absolute fabulous design sure to turn heads and spark conversations every time.  The fixture is circa 80-100 years old so there are imperfections scattered throughout as you would expect but overall a wonderful surviving piece of functional art from the great Art Deco era that has been brought back to life to enjoy for decades more to come.

   MEASUREMENTS- The light is larger sized, measuring 14 1/2" inches tall x 15” inches in diameter.
