Antique Chinese porcelain Batavia ware bowl. The exterior with cafe au lait glaze, dark brown at the bottom fading to light brown at the top rim. The interior painted with a traditional design featuring a central scene depicting a hawk perched in a pine tree. Surrounding this are 6 reserve panels depicting scenes of outdoor activities alternating with geometric designs.

A very fine and elegant piece.
