Part of the series of Field Concerto recordings made by Frith for Naxos. Lovely music, fine performances, fine recording.

Frith has the right temperament for this music, a superb technique allied to a sensitive and Romantic feel. This music pre-dates Chopin, but Chopin was a great admirer and was clearly influenced by Field.

The disc and booklet are all in very good condition indeed. The disc plays fine. The box is very good.
