Excellent lens that was my favorite and most-used lens until it was dropped. There was no damage, except that the aperture wouldn't adjust anymore. It was going to take a while to get it repaired, and it was my favorite lens that I got some of my best pictures with, so I bought another of the same one. But I decided this one was worth repairing, so I had it repaired at an official Tamron repair facility in Paris called Nikken (https://www.nikkenfrance.com/en/whoarewe/arecognizedexpertise/). I've thought about keeping it as a backup, but have decided that I don't need to (generally I'm pretty careful and don't normally break things).
