This is a nicely detailed Antique 19C Standing Wood Buddha Figure from Thailand.  This notable piece was purchased in Bangkok in the early 1970's by my father who was an antique dealer in Penang, Malaysia at the time.  He purchased his inventory primarily from two well respected dealers in Bangkok at the time - Peng Seng & Anna's Antiques.  Based on my experience & knowledge of these type of figures, I estimate this item dates to before the Turn of the Century.  

Please review the Condition Description above:  Overall the Buddha figure is in Good Condition - the primary damage is the missing left side of the Buddha's arm & as well the missing drape of the robe
