The two main differences is the name stamp is printed on this cover rather than stamped, and the text is perhaps 5-10% lighter due to the nature of the scanning process.

The cover shows that it's for the 49G, but the majority of this text is perfectly suitable for use with the HP48SX/GX series if you have the EIT card by Chotkeh.

It is tremendously helpful in deciphering the menu acronyms, and makes the Engineering In Training card so much more useful.

Grey combs and covers are in short supply around my office, and my comb binder wasn't cheap either.  Priced to recoup time & costs associated with making this book.
