This is a hot cast portrait bronze of an Arabian horse. This bronze sculpture stands 10-1/2 inches tall including the 2-3/4 inch two tiered base system.  The black walnut turning under this statue is exceptional, I have included pictures to show this beautiful burled walnut base.

 I am the artist who produced and cast this trophy for Region 9 of the Arabian Horse Association in the United States.  I produced these awards for the Region 9 show in Fort Worth TX for decades.  I recently acquired several castings of these from a farm that was going out of business, I have taken the best ones, disassembled  them, refinished and re-worked them in my foundry including an improved patina. This casting has been mounted on a new black walnut base that I turned on my wood lathe.  I incorporated a piece of black marble on top of the walnut which compliments the colors nicely.   Region 9 of the Arabian Horse Association in the United States holds the copywrite.  Region 9 discontinued awarding this bronze many years ago so these pieces are limited in number.  You are bidding on the actual bronze pictured.
