19thc Lloyd Shelton White Porcelain Poodle c1835-45
Charming white
porcelain poodle standing 1.75 inches high and the base 1.5 inches long.
The poodle
stands on a thin rectangular gold edged base.
The tail of the
poodle is flicked over its back.
A similar
poodle can be seen in “Dogs in English Porcelain” of the 19th
century by Denis Rice page 54 colour plate 70.
The condition
is very good.
