25 CENTS SILVER COIN,

CHOICE UNCIRCULATED AND MINT STATE, CERTIFIED PCGS MS64!

FANTASTIC EXAMPLE, LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN GRADED!!!

KINGDOM OF HAWAII, KING KALAKAUA I  1883  25 CENTS SILVER COIN, CHOICE UNCIRCULATED AND MINT STATE, CERTIFIED PCGS MS64.  LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN GRADED.  Beautiful brilliant coin, with just a touch of toning near the edge.  Fantastic "eye appeal."  Original with fantastic luster.  Sharp detail that one might find on an MS65 graded coin. A mintage of 500,000 quarters (including 26 proofs) was accomplished for the 1883 Hawaiian quarter dollar at the San Francisco Mint. However, when Hawaii became a U.S. territory in 1900, the legal tender status of these pieces was revoked, and many were later withdrawn and melted. This Choice survivor displays vibrant mint bloom beneath faint traces of amber-gold toning. The strike is needle-sharp, and there are no singularly obvious abrasions.  A truly beautiful example.  KM-5.  See images above.
