Two scarce souvenirs of the inaugural day of modern day horse racing in Minnesota are available in one lot: A ticket stub and ticket folder from Canterbury Downs (now Canterbury Park) in the Minneapolis-St. Paul suburb of Shakopee. The ticket stub has been well preserved and bears an artist's conception of the grandstand from the track then owned by Santa Anita. The leather-bound folder shows no wear and bears the logo of the track on the cover.
