Antique Metal Crate Opener Beech-nut Gum Crate Box Opening Pry Tool Advertising

This antique metal crate opener / pry bar is a unique, and rare find, for collectors of vintage candy / gum advertising memorabilia. This tool was specifically designed to open Beech-nut gum crates / boxes, making it a must-have item for those who appreciate the history of chewy treats. The handle reads: "Beech-NUT GUM" on both sides and the flattened "paddle part" reads: "Ship oldest stock first". Measures approx. 12 1/2" long. There is a small hole in the handle, probably to hang it, but it will need to be cleaned out. This does have wear and damage from use, age and storage. From a smoke free home.
