This is a used DOI Teleconverter 2X for Olympus OM manual focus SLR cameras and lenses. It supports automatic stop-down and open aperture metering on compatible bodies. It includes front and rear caps and its original leatherette case. Condition is clean and working well in all respects with very slight internal dust otherwise very good, no fungus, and no damage to the glass.

I tested it on a Canon Eos 40D body with OM adapter and a Tamron Adaptall 35-70mm zoom with Olympus mount which I am selling separately. Weather was slightly overcast. All pictures were taken at f8, ISO 800, with the lens set to 50mm and f8. Pictures with the converter were taken a few minutes after pictures without it, and lighting may have changed slightly.

Buyers should be aware that all telephoto and macro converters reduce the amount of light reaching the film/sensor - usually two stops or so for a x2 teleconverter - and may soften images and reduce contrast. They give their best results with prime lenses (standard and moderate telephoto) and are less satisfactory with zooms and wide angle lenses.
