This is from a collection of patches from the 1960's to the 1980s from the estate of a long time sales person from Lion Brothers Embroidery in Maryland. According to the estate, he accumulated many obsolete patch samples that over time the company stopped selling. These patches were used as samples to take to the customers to show them before final delivery. Lion Brothers is a long established (100 years +) company known for their high quality designs and products..
Please note, some of these still have the model / Catalog Number on the back and many are rare variations you may never see again.
You may think you see similar patches for less, but rest assured these are true vintage items, not reproductions that aren't the wrong colors nor are they off center or seconds, but the are the real deal high quality survivors from decades ago, Also. note the many color variations on these patches that were being offered to the end user, some may have never been produced, so are on of a kind.

This looks like it is from the 1970's (but not sure of exact date).
About 7.9" across and 5.75" high and Near Mint/ Mint condition, and never applied. Little frilling on the edges from the factory.
This is a sturdy cloth Cheese Cloth sew on type of patch (but we sell all patches for display and would need to be sewn on if using).
