Sonex – 180 “Standard”
Alla vostra attenzione porto questa Gibson Sonex
Standard prodotta nello stabilimento Gibson di Nashville nel 1980.
E’ uno strumento interessante, snobbato dai tanti
puristi dell’epoca come ogni prodotto che non era, nei materiali e nell’impostazione,
“tradizionale”. Offriva un ottimo ventaglio di sonorità: era, infatti, dotato anche del miniswitch per lo splittaggio dei due humbucker. La versione Standard è la più rara delle tre prodotte. Costava
ben 375 dollari nel 1980, una somma di tutto rispetto. La Deluxe,
paradossalmente, era il modello più economico e rimase in produzione fino al 1984.
Strumento integro, privo di rotture, botte e
bottarelle, è in condizioni più che eccellenti e non solo per uno strumento di
44 anni di età...
Non dubito che nel giro di poco tempo il valore schizzerà come tutte le altre
Gibson di quel periodo; per questo è uno strumento molto interessante, ancora
abbordabile, dove il rapporto prezzo qualità la fa da padrone.
La qualità musicale esce anche dall’upgrade che è stato apportato: monta un
Seymour Duncan '59 al manico ed un SH-4 JB al ponte e la differenza si sente
tutta! Suona che è una meraviglia e vi invito a provarla di persona. Non
credetemi sulla parola! Vi prego, vi esorto a venire con tutto lo scetticismo
possibile e provarla di persona; e poi ne parliamo...
Viene ceduta all'interno di una gigbag (e non nella custodia rigida che vedete nelle foto) e spedita in
tutta Italia a MIE spese! Un cavo di amplificazione ed il settaggio con corde Ernie Ball Slinky 0.10/0.46 sono compresi nel prezzo. Ritiro diretto gratuito a Roma zona Montesacro.

Greetings and thanks for your interest in this 1980
Gibson Sonex 180 Standard electric guitar made in the U.S. of A.
Nashville, September 30th, 1980.
This is an interesting instrument, snubbed by the many
purists of the time like any guitars (made by Gibson) that were not, in
materials and concept, "traditional." The Standard version is the
rarest of the three models. It cost as much as $375 in 1980, a respectable
amount of money. The Deluxe, paradoxically, was the cheapest model and remained
in production until 1984..
Please, take a look at the beautiful rosewood fingerboard... Old school...
This is a solid instrument, no breaks, bumps and
bangs, it is in more than excellent condition, and not just for a 44-year-old
instrument...
No doubt that, in a short time, its value will
increase significantly, like all other Gibsons of that period; that’s why it is
a very interesting instrument, still affordable in price, with excellent price/quality
ratio.
Concerning the sound, the quality of this particular
Standard is also due to the important pickups upgrade that was made: both, the Seymour
Duncan '59 at the neck and the SH-4 JB at the bridge position, make a huge
difference! It plays and sounds amazing!

this instrument: please take the necessary time to look at them carefully and
if you have any doubts, ask any questions before you buy.
It comes in a very good quality gigbag (and not into the HS case in the photos), with a cable and a complete setup with brand new Ernie Ball 0.10/0.46 gauge strings!
