Offered here is an AMAZING and LARGE antique English Wax-Over-Mache doll with glass eyes. She is a GRAND size at 33 inches tall with a wax-over shoulder head on her antique cloth body with leather arms. She is in very nice condition with no repairs or re-wax to her shoulder head. There are a few age-related surface cracks in the wax. She has beautiful blue glass eyes and a closed mouth. She is wearing an antique replacement mohair wig. Her original wig cap is still attached to her head under the wig. Her antique costume is BEAUTIFUL and I believe that it may original to her. Her antique shoes and socks are a later addition. There are some small splits in the dress (primarily at the bottom of the dress) and a few repairs on the upper part of the skirt. The lace on the bodice is starting to separate from the silk.
