This is a Pentax K1000 35mm slr camera. I am not a camera expert I am going to share with you my observations about function. I “took pictures” using each speed from 1000-B the shutter screen opened and reset with each click. The shutter went slower on lower speeds and stayed open on bulb setting. The picture number advanced with each cycle. During my inspection the mirror stuck up a couple of times but flipped up and down otherwise I don’t know if it was operator error or if it needs cleaning. I changed the battery in the camera but couldn’t seem to get the light meter to work. I put batteries in the flash and it powered right up and fired every time during the test. (I removed batteries from flash.). The case is nothing special but is included to add padding for shipping. The lens moves in and out freely and manually focuses. The instructions are not for this model but was purchased with it so including it with sale.

Most of my items come from auctions, garage sales or estate sales. I do not smoke in my home, but there may be items that come from a smokers home. If I notice the smell, I will mention that in my listing. If it's not mentioned that doesn't mean it is for sure from a smoke free home, I just couldn't smell it. I have done my research best to describe the item and its condition. I have pointed out all the imperfections I see and have done my best to find the appropriate names, titles and descriptions to the item. If the picture does not match the name of the item please let me know. I have tried to take detailed pictures and highlight any flaws. That being said once you've inspected the pictures closely and read the condition description, all other questions about the item should be asked before purchasing.
