The Good Bits:

Stunning Champagne Blonde Hair - originally a 'Summer Sand' shade, but the fibre has oxidised to this unique shade over time.

High colour face - the only paint loss I could see was to the blush on her right cheek.

Tight limbs, with legs that bend and hold three times.

Unfaded fingernail polish and almost all her toenail polish.

Hair has been reset into its original style, finished with a new band and a blue silk ribbon.

The Not So Good Bits:

Her complexion is perhaps not as peachy pink as original, but it's not faded.

Like all oxidised hair fibres on the Mod dolls, it's on the finer side and delicate. There may have been some breakage, but I don't see any obvious cutting to the length. One plug is missing abover her left ear, but her hair covers this on display.

Her legs were very dirty when I got her. I was able to remove the dirt, but there's some subtle mottled staining. I did not try anything beyond soap and water, so it may be possible to get rid of this.

To conclude:

This is not a doll for a mint collector, but her glorious colouring, rarity and the fact that she is a champagne blonde will all make her a star in many collections. I hummed and hahed about keeping her myself, and I may yet decide to.

Please note - US customers may well have to pay import fees and taxes on her, as her value is over $800 - I don't know whether eBay will include them, as I don't use the Global Shipping Programme. I think those of us in Europe are more familiar with this. I imagine most countries have  it, so please check to make sure, as these fees are your responsibility and not mine.

I do combine shipping. Please wait for an invoice with combined shipping before paying.

Payment is due within 4 days, after which your order will be cancelled.

Returns must be done through eBay. Packages must be labelled properly (ie as returned merchandise) if returning from outside the UK.
