This was my elderly brother's baseball glove in 1948 and is still in remarkably good shape after all these 76 years (actually, he really wasn't much of a baseball player and didn't use it very often). This is a glove for a left hander and is in remarkable good shape with soft, supple leather. There are no rips, tears or other blemishes. The leather stitching and web material are all original and intact (again, see pictures). On the face of the glove is embossed "Genuine Cowhide Leather" and either the number "612" or G12 (not sure which but 76 years will do that to you). The glove, itself, is 9.5 inches by 9 inches. Note: the date stamp on the pictures is a default problem with my camera. The pictures are current.
