You will get the specifications and details of what steps to follow during the installation of the part. The non-completion of these steps will nullify the warranty.

(The following terms apply for engines and transmissions only)

To ensure the validity of the Warranty, it is imperative that the following steps are taken during the installation process:

• Proper diagnosis and repair of the original engine failure should be carried out.
• Confirm that the engine being installed is the same application as the one being replaced.
• Exchange the oil pan and pick-up tube.
• Inspect and replace gaskets and seals, such as the front seal, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gaskets.
• Install a new thermostat and gasket.
• Check and replace the timing belt, if needed. If your engine has a timing chain, it should be set and ready for installation.
• Replace the water pump.
• Confirm that attached accessory items, such as mounts, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, distributor, and sensors, are exchanged to ensure proper fit.
• Replace the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filters, and coolant-antifreeze.
• Drain any excess oil and coolant from the exhaust system.
• Confirm that the cooling system is properly flushed and functioning.
• Ensure engine is working and not overheating. If the heat tabs are melted or missing due to the overheating or mishandling, the warranty will be voided.
