The Sea-Wolf, by Jack London. Illustrated by W.J. Aylward Published by The Macmillan Company. Copyright and print date 1904. First edition. 366 pages plus 3 pages of ads.

Blue cloth boards are stamped in black, red and cream, though the black and red has faded into non-existence. Covers are worn and soiled. Top gilt edge is dulled. Both hinges are split, with mesh showing, but are still holding. The internal pages are tightly bound. The free endpapers were removed, and the pastedown endpapers have lots of doodling. The title page has a series of initials in pen. Pages are whole, but have an occasional smudge or spot. One of the six b&w plates is missing. Not the best condition, but as a first, it's suitable as a filler or reading copy.

Overall Condition is Fair
