This is my 1985 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer. 1985 was the first year for the Eddie Bauer name to be used for Fords top trim level and boy was this truck top level in 1985. It's equipped with Power Windows AND Power Locks which is very rare for a Bronco from this era (80-86), Rear window Defroster, Embroidered Captain's Chairs with Armrests, Center Console, 32-gallon fuel tank, Automatic 4x4 Hubs, Vanity Mirror Sun visors, Ashtrays for EVERY passenger and the list goes on. You truly are pampered inside here. More importantly for a Bronco of this era than these aforementioned rare creature comforts are the fact that it is complete with all its interior trim pieces. Important because if you needed an ashtray door or a heater control knob or an armrest you'd have to dig through a junkyard. Aint nobody creating aftermarket replacement trim BUT you aint gonna need any because this sucker already has all her original trim still intact! Odometer reads 32k Miles and it very liekly has rolled over once.

The interior is nice but the most impressive part of this Bronco, in my opinion, is underneath. It is dry, super dry, without a hint of corrosion to be found anywhere. Frame is primo, suspension is primo, floor pans are primo, wheel wells are spotless, engine aint leaking, transmission aint leaking, transfer case aint leaking! Truely a sight to behold. The truck rides on Alcoa aluminum wheels with 31x10.50 BF Goodrich tires and has a full-size spare with cover.

Exterior is pretty spotless as well. There's a handful of small dime sized dents along the exterior, a few paint chips and one dent on the passenger door where the mirror attaches to the door. The dent goes away when the mirror is removed but returns as soon as you bolt it back together. I've tried to have it fixed but neither shop I took it too could remove the 'dent' Its minor and you prolly wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't tell you about it but it's there and it's my least favorite part about the exterior. The removable hard top has been sprayed by LineX in Austin Texas and has a lifetime transferrable warranty. All 3 gaskets have been replaced and all bolts and trim mounting hardware are present and the top fits snug and does not squeak or leak. The rear window is power operated and operates with the key from the exterior or a switch on the A/C control.

Power comes from a 351W V8 with a Ford 4-barrel carb rated at a whopping 210hp. Astronomical numbers for its time. The engine has not been modified in anyway other than the belt operating the smog pump has been removed. The pump still sits installed, waiting to rob your truck of its reliability and gas mileage if you choose to hook it back up. The 5.8L V8 is mated to the bulletproof C6 Automatic transmission. Nothing much to say about this transmission other than it doesn't leak and doesn't have overdrive so 70mph is realistically your top speed. Any faster and you're traveling over 3500rpms and guzzling gas at an astounding rate. I get about 10mpg reliably. Thankfully, compression ratios in the 1980s were low and the Bronco only requires regular 87 octane gasoline.
This Bronco turns heads and gets thumbs up and compliments every day I drive it. It's been as reliable as my Toyota and has been a joy to own and operate for these last 8 or so years. If I had a place to keep storing it I would totally be keeping it, but I don't so I won't.

This Bronco is currently parked outside my Office and is For Sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I consider a car "Sold" when I receive a deposit and write up a Bill of Sale. A $500 deposit is due at the end of the Auction and if not Paid within 24hours the car will be offered to the other bidders. I do have a Buy it now price in mind and the reserve is low. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss either of those things. Car will need to be fully paid within 1 week of auction ending and picked up within 2 weeks of auction ending. Reach out to me with questions or if you wanna see more pictures. Car is located in the zip code 78729 and Buyer will need to arrange for pickup or shipping. Happy Bidding!
