The 2017 Pritzker Prize was awarded to RCR Arquitectes, the firm founded in Olot, Spain in 1987 by Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramón Vilalta. Their work is known for its understated elegance and use of different rhythms, weights and materials to create outstanding projects such as the Soulages Museum, the Waalse Krook Media Library and the Sant Antoni-Joan Ollar Library.RCR: Works on Paper explores a central part of the studio's creative process: drawing.
