For sale, a wonderful antique hand carved English wooden bread board cutting knife, treenware.  It has it's original untouched patina finish. It is marked "Sheffield, England, Firth-Bearley Stainless on the stainless steel part of the knife.

Harry Bearley was the inventor of stainless still in 1912, he created the erosion resistant stainless steel. He was a metallurgist.

It is 13 inches long,  it reads "BREAD" all hand carved into the wood handle. Great little wood knob like end. Nice serrated blade for cutting bread. 

It is in great used condition, normal marks from normal use. Just shows it's age well.

What a great Rare early hand carved knife to use and display! These do not come up for sale very often.

It would look great displayed in your Farm House home.
