1952-P (Philadelphia, no mint mark) Commemorative Silver Half Dollar, featuring George George Carver and Booker T. Washington, two prominent African Americans.  The coin, and in particular its reverse design, was intended to promote patriotism and a distrust of communism among Black Americans, in the midst of the Civil Rights movement -- which makes it a very interesting bit of US history.

While I am not a professional coin grader, I would say this one is uncirculated and still in its original flip from the 1950s (rusty staples and all).  There is toning on both sides.  But please judge the condition by yourself using the scans provided.
