This is a used Vivitar 28mm f2.8 manual focus
lens for Pentax K-M mount 35mm SLR cameras
(early Pentax K, Ricoh,
etc.) but fitting all PK-mount cameras including DSLRs. Focusing is
manual; stop down is automatic by a rear linkage, and
it supports open aperture metering on compatible cameras. On later cameras with electrical contacts for lens electronics stop-down metering must be used. Condition is average - there is slight internal dust, but does not appear to be any fungus, and there are faint polishing marks on the outer glass surfaces. It's mechanically and cosmetically good. It has a rear cap, a skylight filter and a
cloth storage pouch; at the time of listing I don't have any front caps
to fit it but I have some on order and will add one if they arrive
before this is sent.
I tested it on a Pentax K200D using stop-down metering (set aperture to M and press the green button to stop down momentarily and take a meter reading). Aperture was set to f8 for all pictures. Weather was a dull afternoon after rain.

Vivitar was a distributor, not a manufacturer, and this appears to have been made by Komine. There are some reviews here:
