This is a 1970s-vintage manually-focused Galaxy 135mm F2.8 telephoto lens with interchangeable T2 mount - an M42 screw
mount (Pentax / Praktica / Zenith screw) is currently fitted. I have
mounts for a variety of SLR cameras (but not for mirrorless cameras),
please check if you want something else if you win. It has manual stopdown by the
preset ring method. I'm supplying it with front and rear caps and a cloth storage bag. It should fit most SLRs with an
appropriate T2 mount or M42 adapter.
Unfortunately this is in very poor condition with internal dust and fungus and damage (from excessive polishing) to the front element which is reducing contrast. The filter mount is damaged, although filters do fit without problems. I think it's repairable, but it will need full cleaning and servicing. Accordingly I'm selling it for flares/repairs only and will not accept returns.
I tested it
on a dull afternoon using a Canon Eos 40D with M42
screw adapter. The camera was set to 800 ASA and the lens to f8 for all
shots. Contrast had to be "tweaked" slightly to get good results.

Galaxy was a badge name used by the Dixons chain of camera shops. I haven't been able to find out who actually made it, or find any reviews of this model.
As
always I'm starting low and with no reserve. I'm separately selling
some other photographic items. If you buy multiple auction items from me
please request a combined postage invoice, I'll do my best to get it
down to the lowest possible price. I do not make any profit on postage.
International buyers:
The postage price shown is based on an estimate of packed weight, just under 500g. Please note
that eBay will add VAT or sales tax to the final price in the EU and
some other countries.
