Native American Styled Pewter Urn or Jar Signed by Michael Ricker

Beautfully crafted pewter and ceramic art depicting Native American Chief with a ring of leaves on the bottom forming the base (feet)
and Conchos on both sides of the handle

Signed and dated in 1992 by Michael Ricker

There are two stubs with holes near the top of the jug/urn that may have been connected
to some type of cover or cork that is missing. A new cork could be fashioned relatively easily if needed.

I cannot find another example of this piece anywhere to confirm what went on the the top or what it looked like.
It could very well be a limited designed, one of a kind piece.

The item measures 8.5" tall x 6" wide x 5.5" deep and weighs 3.75 pounds

In January of 1991 the construction of the new museum, gallery and casting studio was complete, along with the completion of the new facility came a unique addition to the collectability of Michael Anthony Ricker's artwork.

After Michael's passing in January of 2006, his sister and brother formed the new company Designs by Ricker. DESIGNS BY RICKER is carrying on the legacy established by Michael Anthony Ricker through his company "Michael Ricker Pewter." Michael's brother, Gary, and sister, Mary Jo, are continuing to keep his world alive by producing, exhibiting and selling through the last remaining gallery many of the approximate 4,000 sculptures he created during his lifetime. In addition they are casting the numerous unexecuted designs and ideas he left behind utilizing sculptors he trained to use his sculpting methodologies.
