This is a used Canon EF f35-105mm f4.5-5.6
USM zoom lens with Canon EF mount. These lenses were originally manufactured
for 35mm SLRs, but are fully compatible with Canon DSLRs including full
frame models. I'm supplying it with caps, a skylight filter, and a cloth storage bag.
This is
partially working; manual focus (by turning the front of the lens) works well with confirmation lights in the viewfinder, and the aperture operate as it should, but autofocus doesn't work at all. This may just be a problem with the switch, but it's possible the internal motor is dead, which isn't something I can fix. There are some optical faults; two scratches and some smaller marks on the front element (most visible in the last picture of the lens), and some internal dust which may be reducing contrast slightly. I don't think that there is any fungus. In view of these faults I'm selling it as faulty and will not accept returns.
Operation was tested on an Eos 40D body.
The photographs used automatic exposure etc. and were taken in the
early afternoon, weather was dull after rain.

This model doesn't seem to have a particularly good reputation, but if you need a relatively expendable lens and can live with manual focus it's worth a look.
As
usual I'm starting low and with no reserve. I'm separately selling some
other lenses and other photographic equipment. If you buy multiple
auction items from me please request a combined postage invoice, I'll do
my best to get it down to the lowest possible price. I do not make any
profit on postage.
International buyers: The postage
price shown is based on an estimate of packed weight, around 400g.
Because of frequent problems with overseas post I have switched to
tracked postal services for some items. If combined postage is used for
multiple items (max 2kg packed weight) the tracking fee is charged on
the package as a whole and works out cheaper per item. Please note that
eBay adds VAT or sales tax to the final price for buyers in Europe and some other
countries.
