The radio is in working condition, but some repairs will be required to make it safe to operate again. The rubber coating on some of 

the wiring is very brittle from age exposing some bare wires. I taped up a few of the bad spots in the wiring and plugged the radio in

temporarily to see if it works.  I was able to tune in several AM stations. The radio does have a background hum when operating. The 

tuner knob and volume knob turn easily as does the selector knob. The cabinet has some stains on top and the wood is dried out. A 

very good project radio for restoration. Sold as is with no guarantees. Please see all 22 photos and the video for condition. Check
