Offered for sale is an antique stoneware pitcher in an Albany-alkaline glaze, producing both shiny and matte surfaces and some glaze runs. The core paste is buff, perhaps suggesting Alabama origin. The pitcher is heavy at 5 1/2 pounds, standing 10 1/2 inches with a base diameter of 6 inches. It is in very good condition.
