THE RIGHT SIZE TO HAVE FUN

The larger 1/18 size allowed Traxxas engineers to craft the TRX-4M with more innovation and performance. Bigger tires, increased ground clearance, larger axles and a powerful engine work together to tackle obstacles while maintaining ruggedness. The innovative suspension geometry allows the TRX-4M to turn and maneuver in a very small fraction of space. The shock absorbers that are usually mounted on small-scale cars are spring-only, small and without oil, thus making your model car bounce on the roughness of the ground. Here on the Traxxas TRX-4m oil-filled shock absorbers are installed which guarantee "silky smooth" passages on the ground. Furthermore the beautiful scale details are clearly visible.

ALL-TERRAIN VERSATILITY

The TRX-4M is designed to excel wherever there is a fun trail to ride. The smooth throttle response, high-torque engine and 30% tighter turning radius allow the TRX-4M to easily navigate indoor and/or outdoor trails while managing to move precisely through even the tightest passages. Outside, larger wheels and tires and high ground clearance allow drivers to test their skills on rocks and challenging terrain. Adventure awaits on the trails as the increased top speed allows the TRX-4M to explore terrains at a faster pace.

STEERING ANGLE

The full 45° steering angle gives the TRX-4M an exceptionally tight turning radius and extreme maneuverability in tight spaces where every centimeter counts.

GTM® OIL SHOCK ABSORBERS

The TRX-4M rejects the status quo of small, usually bouncy, imitative shocks, thus performing with the long-travel suspension feel of the new oil-filled GTM shocks.

HEAVY-DUTY STEEL FRAME STRUCTURE

The TRX-4M performs like a full-size crawler because it is built like one. A rigid steel spar frame virtually eliminates flex to put more power to the ground. The heavy-duty transmission easily absorbs engine torque, sending power to all four wheels through rigid-axle axles.

TRAIL-READY FRAME AND DRIVETRAIN

The TRX-4M features a sophisticated four-link suspension with HEAVY-DUTY linkage front and rear. The sturdy front and rear axles have excellent articulation for climbing over the most difficult obstacles.

The TRX-4M's front and rear axles feature a rigid post to provide continuous climbing power to all four wheels. Robust steel constant velocity (CV) joints allow a greater steering angle of the front wheels for tight turns.

The TRX-4M's heavy-duty center driveshafts are telescoping to allow for maximum suspension travel. Smooth-running CV joints are designed for long-lasting, trouble-free performance.

NEW INNOVATIVE ELECTRONICS

The all-in-one ECM-2.5™ (electronic control module) incorporates all the features of an XL-5™ speed control, TQ receiver and Pro Scale® lighting control module into a single waterproof component . The ECM-2.5 features low voltage sensing for 2-cell LiPo batteries and one-button EZ-Set® programming to select between three realistic riding modes. Smooth, precise control and exceptional throttle response allow drivers to drive in tight spaces and overcome the most difficult technical obstacles with ease.

Select one of three custom riding modes using the EZ-Set button:

Sport Mode provides full forward and reverse speed with brakes and no drag brakes.

Trail Mode is the default mode on the TRX-4M. It's like Sport mode but adds a slight "drag brake" in the neutral position for control on steep descents.

Crawl Mode applies the brakes at 100% the instant the accelerator is released and allows drivers to continue reversing without a second press on the trigger. Crawl Mode is perfect while navigating technical terrain.
