Clean with clear details on both sides, milled edge. Obverse design has King George VI facing left and legend around the edge. Reverse side design has the Fijian Coat of Arms Shield in the center, "FIJI" above the Shield, date separated by the Shield, and 
" FLORIN " below the Shield. The Shield contains the Imperial Lion in the uppermost section, Sugar Cane and Coconut Tree  in the center section, the Dove in the lower left section and Bananas in the lower right, the natural resources of the Islands, and the Dove signifies Fiji as a Peaceful Colony. Due to the WW2 period, all Fiji coins were mint in San Francisco, Ca, with a mint stamp "s" located on the FLORIN, below the Coat of Arms Shield, above and between letters, " O and R " in FLORIN. This 1942 Florin is in Extra Fine condition.
