Just a beautiful pair of vintage heavy thick curtains by Monkwell Fabrics.....would suit a period/country home or in a vintage setting and have a strong sense of the countryside and are attractive on the eye!
Heavy matte cotton in a duck egg green (I would call it this, rather than duck egg blue ~ see colour chart just for idea but could be classed as a bluey/green) with a fabulous strong print of assorted flowers, fruits and ropes and the pattern is called "Rope and Flowers" as marked on the selvedge. This is the original fabric of very good quality cotton and a strong print!
Please ask if you are not sure about the colours, as all monitors will have subtle difference in colours, light and shade...I can provide more pics if needed.
The fabric is thick, matte and heavy (4kg unpacked) and they are fully lined and also have weighted hems. No tie backs are included but there are a few hooks included and you might need to buy some more/use your own. One vertical seam per curtain with pattern match.
Pencil pleats of which the strings have been gathered and cut a bit short, so the gathered tops will not extend full width (this is not normally needed, as most people gather their curtains to fit)
Each curtain measures 82" drop and the bottom hem measures 75" wide and the top measures 50" wide The hem is 7.5cm. (I use a cloth measure, so might be minimal mm difference). Weight unpacked 4kg
In good condition with nice strong colours, no fading or smell...they are nice and clean and will not need cleaning. Noted: linings have some marks but have not transferred to the face and once gathered will notice less, see photo.
