Early postcard with a controversial political theme: ROCKEFELLER'S MONEY IS TAINTED. TAINT MINE-TAINT YOURS.

Copyright 1904 by A.I. Jansson.

The theme of this postcard refers to a large contribution John D Rockefeller made to an organization whose purpose was to benefit the public good. Rockefeller, a super wealthy business magnate, had an unsavory, shady reputation.  Therefore, there was public controversy, with many people feeling that it was immoral to accept money from such an unfit benefactor.

Very good antique condition, as pictured.  Unposted.  Normal aging.
