This is a Matsumoku/Aria Les Paul copy LC-550 made in the late 70's!
Maple top, mahogany back, maple/rose neck! With the gold parts and open PU specifications of the LC-500, it was a model that had a solid carved maple top at an entry price, but it produced a good sound that was incomparable to today's entry-level models.
The PU is equipped with an alnico magnet EXTRAII, and as far as I can see, there are no parts that need to be replaced, but the binding has deteriorated and some of it has been repaired with something like putty.
