This vintage Elna Supermatic sewing machine is a great find. Made in Switzerland in 1957, this 2-tone green machine comes with a metal case and features free arm, zig-zag, and decorative stitches.

I have cleaned, lubricated and tested this machine. I have replaced the motor friction pulley and bobbin winder tire. This machine is noisy and reminds me of an old lawnmower. I've learned this is normal for this machine. The "knob" for the needle position selector crumbled and was not replaced, but does not take away from its functionality. Please see photo. It does not come with a user manual, but one can be downloaded online.
