This vintage printing block is a rare find for collectors of letterpress memorabilia. Made of aluminum, it features an image from the 1971 Los Angeles Times. The block is a type cut and printers cut, perfect for use in printing and graphic arts projects.

The item was manufactured in the United States and is a great addition to any collection of vintage printing blocks. The unique aspects of this block, such as the material, make it a standout piece for any business or individual looking for a one-of-a-kind item.

It is approximately 1 1/2 by 3 inches. A magnet does not stick to it so it appears to be aluminum. There is a bit of sticky residue on the bottom. It says: Love is….sharing a hard days leisure hour before dinner. In smaller print on the bottom it has a word I am not able to discern and 1971 Los Angeles Times.

There isn’t a wood backing only the aluminum printing block. The last picture is in a mirror to reflect and have an idea of how the image would actually look upon being printed.
