Mystery maker Doll with a sweet face, I estimate her to be manufactured before 1900.

Marked under rim: "Made in Germany." At base of neck: "B.3".  The lettering is beautiful old script, like the really old dolls have. Willing to accept offers.

She is 23" tall, with an 11-1/2" head circumference.

Really nicely painted with a sweet expression. Loads of fine eyelashes, sweet mouth cut open with 5 porcelain teeth.

Big, dark brown stationary eyes, the rocker has been plastered in place.

The dress is wonderful and worth the price of this doll alone! It's been expertly cut from a baby gown and has tons of pintucks, lace insertion, hand embroidery, and beautiful gathered cotton lace. The very full slip is longer than the dress, so the lovely hemline peeks out. Darling pantaloons, and a Bolero vest of old velvet.

Fabulous striped stockings and pink shoes with buckle toe decoration. She wears an ivory-look necklace with 3 elephants & beads.

The body is in really good condition and has the original finish. She still has the knuckle and cuticle outlines on her fingers!

The head has a triangular crack behind left ear, and crack in front of that ear as shown in the photos, Plaster has been placed over the cracks on the inside to reinforce the damaged area, it will not break because of this. There is a tiny rough spot on her right, very lower cheek, not noticeable, from the manufacturing.

Blonde wig is a synthetic replacement. The left hand is missing the middle finger. Both shoes are missing the soles. One has half of the decorative toe buckle.

Stand not included. Please look at photos. They are considered part of the description. Some are with a flash and others are natural light.
