Estate find. The small jewelry case measures 5” long and 3.25” tall, not including the handle. There’s a discolored metal hang tag, and the underside has a Wolf Designs label that’s noticeably worn and dulled. It’s an older circa 2000 jewelry box that has been used and stored.

The top back edge has a 1” area where it looks like the edge got caught on something and pulled out some. This portion of the edge is misshapen with waviness, there’s a gap. Maybe during a trip, or in storage, something heavy pushed down on the edge, kind of smashing it.

I found a tiny 1/8” gouge or cut type blemish to a side edge. Other than that, the red exterior looks pretty good. The black underside is dulled and discolored, especially along the outside edges (table wear).

The latch functions well. The key works, but it’s a simple key. The brass has scratching and discoloration. Fingerprints, smudges. You can see that the inside of the latch, around the holes, is beaten up with pitting from the top bumping on it when being closed.

The deepest portion of the interior is noticeably discolored. The very bottom of the inside is quite dingy. The top edges of the two dividers have the ugliest darkening. These two edges are badly soiled. The crevices and tight spots of the very bottom have dirtiness.

The smaller inside box looks good. It snaps and unsnaps with no problems.
