Welcome to my sale of my 1990 honda accord 2.0 16v, fsh
As you can see in the pictures, not a bad looking car considering its 34 years old.
I bought her as the job i was in had a company van that we were not even allowed to go to the shops on the way home. Plus my regular truck was in having alot of mechanical work done to it.
Im a bit of a sucker for old classics, so bought her unseen. I had to do a few jobs but overall i was pleased with the car.
Anyone into these hondas will know, there a rare sight now, as far as i can tell, 1 of 15 left for this year on the road
Even rarer because its a manual and its on a twin choke factory carb as well.
For its condition its rare.
So the car, its described as silver, its got a hint of bronze /gold to it
Interiors out of grandads house and as comfortable as grandads house, i do mean that as well, mimimal wear on seats, plastics all good, not all cracked
Its fairly quiet on a run, no big wind noise, so the seals all seem pretty good.
Exterior  well its 34 years old, so to me its in really nice condition, not a show winner but it gets alot of looks and comments from most guys in there 40's , remembering there dads one.
Not alot of rust, its pictured in last pics
Rear wings look like they have seen paint at some point but look nice and done to a good standard by a bodyshop.
Wheels are honda, recently powdercoated silver, not painted
Engine bays clean, boots clean, missing carpet in boot.
One head light has a bullseye on it but its gone through mot ok, plus theres a spare in the boot if you want to change it out.
Engines a 2.0tr 16v , same one used across the range, then used in later rovers like the 600. So parts are a plenty.
Does like most old cars drop a few drops of oil
Its on a carb, which is a rarity, most were switched over to tbi, ok so its slightly down on power compared to a tbi but it has the relibility and at least standing a chance if it goes wrong.
Has had new plugs and oil change plus leads.
Transmission is 5 speed manual, again im told a rarer option.
Had cambelts at 40k, 90k and 123k.
Speaking of which, car has now done 138500 miles. I think it had done 138 when i got her, so its really just been out and about to shops and to poole and back a few times
Pretty much all mots are here as in pics
Orignal honda owners pack with honda service books, then indepentant service history all the way up to 131,067 miles, so still current.
2 keys with car.
Car drives lovely for 34 years old, smooth and really reponsive steering and mid range torque, no smoke or anything like that.
Im in my early 50's and the insurance is £75 a year fully comp for me on a classic policy.
Now please bear in mind its 34 years old, it has full service history and runs well and deserves to be looked after. But it is 34 years old and is not new, so dont bid if your unsure about a classic car.
I would hope the new owner is as pleased as i was when i bought her.
No not in show condition, but a really nice car, it would lokm lovely lowered and a nice set of alloys on her and at the starting price, hard to find another.
Your bidding to buy, not to look and decide.
Im really sorry to put this, but absolutely no messers, you bid, you buy, it costs money for the ad, we all had a messer, please dont be one.
No returns, no warranty its a cheap classic at the starting price of £1295. Theres not alot of classics at this price, its a cheap way into classic cars with better reliability being more modern.  i really cannot say this enough, its 34 years old so do not go expecting a new car, but against classics in this price range its good.
