- was an Austrian sculptor and ceramic modeller. His bronze statuettes often show graceful dancers with long legs and closed eyes. Lorenzl designed numerous ceramics for Friedrich GOLDSCHEIDER and Keramos and was one of the most popular artists of Art Deco.

YOUNG DANCER WITH DRUM

Depiction of a young dancer in a knee-length dress with a white flounced neckline, lavishly decorated with blue flowers against a yellow background, with her arms stretched out to the sides, standing on her tiptoes and her head tilted to the left, holding the dress up in a fan shape at the hem of the skirt, a drum behind her at her feet .
On a round, cream-colored, stepped base, with green painting on the top and artist's signature 'Laurenzl' on the back of the drum.
